Each morning, boats leave at 7:30 a.m. from the port in BocaGrande on day tours to Playa Blanca for 40.000 - 60.000 COP, lunch included. Tours return around 5:30 in the afternoon.

Playa Blanca is a nice alternative to the rather shoddy BocaGrande beach, but be warned that the ride can be rather rough. If you are worried about this, try to pick out the largest boat you can find, or reserve a spot a day in advance.
The trip to Playa Blanca is about 45 minutes from launch at Bocagrande and Corales de Rosario is just another 20 minutes further up the coastline. Some captains have been known to spin lines about leaving the beach early in order to avoid the rough swells. This is bogus. They are either trying to get the afternoon off or go back for more business. If you are enjoying yourself at Playa Blanca, don't budge!!
