Cartagena - Boat Tour to Playa Blanca
Each morning, boats leave at 7:30 a.m. from the port in BocaGrande on day tours to Playa Blanca for 40.000 - 60.000 COP, lunch included. Tours return around 5:30 in the afternoon.
Costeño Beach - Surf Camp & Eco-Lodge
Costeño Beach offers the best surfing conditions on Colombia's Caribbean coast, and while others in the area offer surf board rentals, only here will you find experienced surfers with a ecological vision for the area. Affordable hammocks, campsites, cabanas, and food on site.
Costeño Beach - Casa Grande
The old site for the Costeño Beach Surf Camp, Casa Grande offers board rentals, camping, and food at twice the price. The owners' of this establishment saw the success of the Costeño Beach Surf Camp and pushed them out. Drive 3 km more and turn left for the real thing.
Palomino - Palomino Beach
Palomino Beach looks to be the heir apparent of the Santa Marta tourism boom that is attracting backpackers from across the world, and a number of hostels and restaurants are racing to get a piece. The beach is spectacular, and offers a great deal of privacy from the rest of the town.
Santa Marta - El Rodadero Beach
Located 5km to the south of Santa Marta sits El Rodadero Beach, a launching point for sailing and diving tours to Playa Blanca, and vacation spot for Colombian tourists.
Tayrona - Bahía Concha
Bahía Concha is the most accessible beach in Tayrona because you can reach it directly in a car without hiking in. It is a beautiful place to spend an afternoon if you are want to experience Tayrona's beauty without the overnight camping experience.
Tayrona - Cabo San Juan
All the beaches in Tayrona offer incredible views, but Cabo San Juan is a hands down favorite. San Juan is perfect for swimming or snorkeling, and tent camping and hammocks are available. If you arrive between 12 and 3, try to get one of the hammocks in the tower for an amazing sunset.
Tayrona - Playa Arrecifes
While rip currents can be extremely dangerous at Arrecifes, the community of back packers, restaurants, and general store make Arrecifes beach a great place to camp for the night, chill out and relax in the sun. Swimming beaches are just a 15 minute hike to the west.
Tayrona Cañaveral
Cañaveral beach is just a 5 minute walk from the Tayrona parking drop off point, but as it is in the opposite direction from the rest of the parks beaches, it is incredibly secluded. You may be the feeling that you are walking through paradise in a bottle. Luxury accommodations available.
